- Hola me llamo Laura, and this is my blog. I'm a Youth Minister in North Houston, and spend most of my days hanging-out with my wonderful Youth Group. I love Jesus, and I’m trying to figure out how to live my life for Him! I graduated from Texas Tech and will be forever a Red Raider Fan. I absolutely love the Youth I work with. They drive me crazy sometimes, but they teach me so much and make me laugh everyday I’m with them. Here is the Purpose Statement for our youth group: The purpose of our youth ministry is to show youth that God is love. To teach and guide believers as they strengthen their faith, give them opportunities to minister to others, and teach them to stand proud in what they believe in. To reach out to those who do not know Christ, show them His love, and encourage and help them to seek Christ. To let all know that they can have a personal and intimate relationship with Christ and experience Him daily.
